To accompany the showstopping Ninja Course, Thompson Park’s dynamic fitness area also debuts Greenfields’ first-ever Ninja Training Ground, new Boxing Zone, and brand new patented Curved Treadmills, providing nearly infinite options for improving strength and mobility.
Build Strength and Endurance
For those hoping to prepare for the Ninja Course, the Ninja Training Ground is equipped to help users develop strength that will directly translate to the course. The motions and grips practiced in the Ninja Training Ground enables users to move through the Ninja Course with more ease and speed.
Even if they’re not training for the course, park visitors can use the Ninja Training Ground’s wide range of equipment to achieve a comprehensive calisthenic workout. With features such as a Kettlebell, Vertical Swedish Ladder, and Adjustable Suspension Trainer, the Training Ground provides something for everyone as visitors can select exercises that match their personal abilities and goals. If they need help finding a place to start, visitors can use the Greenfields Outdoor Fitness app to find demonstrations of different exercises for each feature of the Ninja Training Ground.
The nearby Greenfields Boxing Zone is filled with a Muay Thai Boxing Station, Kickboxing Station, and Speed Bag. Drills in this zone provide high intensity cardio workouts that improve coordination and endurance. Strength, flexibility, and balance can also be enhanced through exercises like kick combinations. Visitors can even incorporate the targets in traditional bodyweight workouts like push-ups and sit-ups.
Right next to the boxing equipment, visitors can find two Curved Treadmills they can run on together while facing the Ninja Course. The Treadmills also include cup holders to encourage hydration and phone holders to make it easier for users to listen to entertainment of their choosing.
