X-Treme Ninjas in Florida: Riverside Park

The first-ever Greenfields X-Treme Ninja Course 4 is a hit in Coral Springs, Florida! The cornerstone of a new, multifaceted fitness destination, the unique course at Riverside Park is making waves among park visitors. A Finish Wall, inspired by the TV show’s Warp Wall, challenges users to end their course run dramatically. The U-shaped X-Treme Ninja Course 4 features 13 obstacles, including hanging platforms, spider walk, and cheese walls.

Coral Springs is a Destination for Fitness

Adjacent to the Ninja course, an obstacle course with a separate set of challenges beckons athletes and other high-level users. Many obstacle course features double as calisthenics apparatuses. Also, it has a unique setup featuring pull-up bars, rope climbs, and wall ball targets. Together, the obstacle course features facilitate an almost-limitless variety of activities.

Nearby is yet another area with a selection of adjustable-resistance machines, designed to emulate the type of workouts done on selectorized equipment found in private gyms. Greenfields’ Leg Press and Leg Extension & Curl provide lower body strengthening, while upper body strengthening is facilitated by the Tricep Press, Vertical Press, Shoulder Press, Chest Press, Rower and Bench Press.

Finally, the trail provides more exercise opportunities with bodyweight leverage units and open-area exercises. We added QR code signage so users can view equipment-free activity videos on their phones, offering more options to visitors. Greenfields’ new no-equipment video demos cover warm-ups, cardio, and bodyweight exercises, including easy or low-impact variations. Synthetic turf at each station and on the X-Treme Ninja and Obstacle Courses offers a comfortable base; users may also bring mats.

Unique Design in Riverside Park

The trail is designed to be highly inclusive, featuring several units from Greenfields’ Signature Accessible line , including the Vertical Press, Chest Press, and Butterfly / Reverse Fly Combo, which each have one side for an able-bodied user and the other side for an individual in a wheelchair to use without transferring. Other units on the trail include a Rowing Machine, Sit-up benches, Pommel Horse, and the ever-popular 4-Person Pendulum, Abs, & Dips Station.

Additionally, the trail promotes social interaction; each of its six stations can accommodate multiple users. These new, exciting features occupy what previously was an outdoor roller rink. Project planners revamped the rink’s center to include the X-Treme Ninja and obstacle courses, a shaded area, and seating. An oval path edges the area, which features six trail stations at intervals for walking or jogging. Also included in the project was the installation of pickleball and basketball courts.

With so much to offer, thousands will enjoy Coral Springs’ unique fitness area for years to come.
