When using this leg extension and curl unit, you can hold onto the handles to keep your shoulders aligned over your hips, or if you’re looking for more glute activation you may opt to lean forward. In a slow and controlled manner, one may opt to place feet under the rubber bars for either leg extension – by lifting legs to align with hips or bending at the knees for a curl.
