Push and pull can be performed from this unit. The bench allows user to comfortably work on upper body and core strengthening. Recline back on the rest, and slide underneath the bars (positioning your body where the bar in mid to lower chest), with your head in line with your spine, and chin slightly lifted. Start with your palms on the bar, facing away from your body for a traditional press – extending your arms (with a slight bend in elbow) towards the sky *perk of outdoor fitness equipment* and repeat. Try on another variation with your palms facing you, one arm at a time, combine a press with leg raises, or use the resistance for dumbbell or barbell equivalent. Back, arms, chest, and core. A fun way to train for push-ups and planks.
