Bring a member of your team to Greenfields’ booth at NRPA (#2438) to perform as many pull-ups as possible in one minute. The contestant with the highest rep count in one minute will win the grand prize of Greenfields’ NEW Functional Fitness Rig – a $25,000 value! All other contestants (one per organization/entity) will earn a 1% discount for each pull-up done in one minute, up to a 30% maximum, to be applied to a purchase of outdoor fitness equipment. Greenfields Fitness Challenge at NRPA ’17 – Official Rules
Contestants meet the criteria below to participate on behalf of the organization/entity they represent::
- Employee, elected official, commissioner, or board member of a park district or municipality in the U.S.
- Employee, faculty member, board member, or student at a U.S. educational institution
- Employee or board member of a 501(c)(3)
- Active member of the U.S. military
All contestants must be accompanied by, or must themselves be a member of, management-level personnel from the organization they represent. All contestants must sign a media release form and liability release form before participating in contest. Winners will be required to verify employment with the organization/entity they represent in the contest prior to being officially awarded. Any past winner of a Greenfields Fitness Challenge at any previous conference is not eligible to win Functional Fitness Rig but may compete for a discount. Multiple employees from one organization may enter the contest to represent their organization/entity but only one contestant’s number of repetitions will be counted toward that entity’s final contest entry. In the case of a tie, winner will be chosen at random. Contest is open during regular exhibit hall hours (including Happy Hour) of the NRPA 2017 Annual Conference. Winner will be announced on Greenfields’ website and social media channels no later than Friday, Sept. 29. Winner will be notified by email and/or phone.
Prize of the Functional Fitness Rig will be shipped to an agreed-upon location in the continental U.S. no later than 12/31/17. Should the winner be outside the continental U.S., shipping costs will be the responsibility of the winner. Prize must be shipped to the entity represented by the contestant; Greenfields will not ship to private residences. At its discretion, Greenfields reserves the right to revoke prize before shipment and re-award to the entity with the next highest rep count if the awardee and the represented organization fail to comply with official rules, be unable to receive prize, or for any other valid reason. Discounts on orders resulting from contest entries may only be applied to orders placed by 12/31/17 and shipped by 3/31/18 (exceptions may be made for shipping locations in cold climates.)
