6-Time American Ninja Warrior Finalist, Adam Rayl

Greenfields is proud to partner with Ninja Champion Adam Rayl to spread the word about the fun, excitement, and the benefits of Ninja training.

Who is Adam Rayl?

With a foundational background in gymnastics, Adam found his real passion for athletics in Ninja Courses. After a year of Ninja training, Adam decided to compete in the reality television show American Ninja Warrior as a walk-on, and earned a place in the Las Vegas National Finals. He then continued to make it into Stage 2 of the National Finals for the next five years, also taking home bronze two years in a row. His stellar performances earned Adam spots to compete on spin-off shows, such as USA vs the World, American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs Ninja, and All Stars Skills Challenge.

Adam’s triumphs on Ninja Courses doesn’t stop with American Ninja Warrior; he has competed in and won numerous other competitions, such as:

  • World Ninja League
  • Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association
  • Wolfpack Ninja Tour
  • Barbados Ninja Throwdown
  • Ninja Speed Championships for Rockford Ninja Warrior (2x)
  • Colorado Ninja Challenge (2x)
  • Ninja Competition at the Arnold Sports Festival

“What Ninja Warrior has that no other sport — not even gymnastics — has, is this infinite variety of variability, right? You can change things, you can do them different ways; it’s not always static and always the same. And I think people like that. People love to have fun doing something any number of different ways”

“If you want to be happy, you want to be healthy, you’ve got to work your body, right? And that starts with a strong mind. And a great way to get to your strong mind is to be doing something you love.”

– Adam Rayl

Adam’s philosophy that “you gotta be having fun engaging in fitness,” aligns with Greenfields’ belief that Ninja Courses make exercise more exciting, which leads to youth developing healthy habits that will better their lives in the future. Ninja Courses cater to older youth and young adults who have outgrown playgrounds and may not wish to play sports, but still desire a comprehensive workout that is fun. Adam has also joined us at numerous events, including ones at John Galvin Park, Thompson Park, and Valencia High School.

“It’s lower body, it’s core, it’s upper body, it’s swinging, it’s coordination — hand-eye coordination — it’s cardio, it’s strength, it’s agility, it’s kind of everything all in one. And I don’t think you find that in a lot of sports, and particularly, I don’t think you find that in a lot of implementations in public spaces when it comes to playgrounds and such.”
