NJSTART allows New Jersey public purchasing entities to buy goods and services through Statewide contracts negotiated by the State of NJ, including national cooperative contracts such as NASPO, Sourcewell, and GSA. Entities must still follow their own local procurement rules when purchasing.
Beyond contracts, NJSTART can also handle the full procurement workflow — bids, quotes, requisitions, purchase orders, and invoice payments. For more information about New Jersey’s cooperative contracting programs, users can visit the NJ Treasury’s cooperative contracting pages: Cooperative Contracting Agencies and Cooperative Contracting FAQs.
